I created my first lettered canvas – a commissioned project for a friend – in 2011. Lindsay Letters already existed as a hand lettering company, but I really loved the permanence of creating something to be displayed as artwork. Trends come and go, but the practice of putting meaningful words on the spaces you see most will never go out of style.
